Adam Cheng
Adam Cheng, MD, FRCPC is a pediatric emergency physician, researcher, educator, and innovator based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is a Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary.
During his fellowship training at the University of Toronto, Adam found a passion for healthcare simulation and resuscitation training. In the years since, he has channeled that passion into a world-class resuscitation research program that has led multicenter clinical trials and generating evidence to inform international resuscitation guidelines. Along the way, Adam has also forged a program of scholarship in debriefing, publishing countless articles that have shaped the evolution of healthcare debriefing over the past decade.
He also enjoys dabbling in technology, with his current interests resting in the application of augmented reality and artificial intelligence to support clinical care. In his spare time, Adam enjoys golfing with his friends and cheering his kids on from the stands at their various sporting events.
